Default How bad does this look? (PICS)

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being why the hell did you replace It? 10 being i cant belive the car was still driving with that clutch.

I just pulled mine out today too and it looks almost exactly like yours. Are you going to use that same flywheel and get it turned or just get a new one? Thats my dilema.

i actually bought the ls7 clutch kit. So it came with the ls2 flywheel.
I would turn yours for sure.

I'd say 6-7. All of that discoloration on the PP means is slipping a lot and overheating. Resurface the flywheel until you have a uniform and clean appearance.

The wear marks are almost gone on the disc and their is a lot of heat spots on the pressure plate and flywheel . It would work if you are in a pinch but I'd probably replace it if you plan on keeping the car .

Damn, I have 20k more miles but probably 20 less 1/4 runs and my clutch looked the same as yours, but the pressure plate was not as heat soaked. Guess that shows what racing does lol

haha those look almost as bad as mine. mine was so worn out that my car hardly moved. i had to dump the clutch to get anywhere, and even then it went real slow cause itd slip all the way through every gear, grabbing only slightly. felt like i had a stall lol except it didnt go anywhere
