Default Please help - Noise from Tranny???

99 Trans Am M6

I don't know if this is normal or not, but, i get a clunking noise from under my car sometimes, as I shift gears. I'm new to the M6 and my shifting isn't the best I suppose, but if I don't transition from clutch to gas perfectly, I get the noise.
Further, even if the car isn't moving and the clutch is engaged like at at stop light, if I switch back and forth from 1st to 2nd I sometimes get a similar noise. There wouldn't be any load on the drivetrain or suspension so I'm at a loss as to what this could be as well.

Anyone have any ideas on what either of these noises could be? Car is completely stock and runs/drives fine otherwise.

Your clutch probably isn't releasing like it should .
