Default Help with a Textralia OZ700.

Well the time came, my spec 5 took a dump. installed a Textralia OZ700. Had a brain fart and forgot to remove the slave spacer-shim that was used for the SPEC stg5.

Engaugement is about 1/2 way, Just worried that with the shim might be putting a load on the slave-throw out bearing.

Have not driven the car yet so not realy sure on how it will act.

Any insight on this situation. Should I remove it?????

Hey Chris! How the heck are ya doing?

Anyway, I've just had the same clutch installed into my hawk 2 months ago.

I went from stock to your same model from trex, along with new slave and master (GM).

Anyway, the clutch is good for the most part, but my mechanic isnt happy where its engaging. Mine is down about 1/4 from the floor...way too low. But not adjustable with the GM master.

So if yours is about 1/2 way with that shiim, you might be better off leaving it where it is.

Let me know how you make out.

HI Mike doing fine............need to get this thing going leaving TN monday, LSX Shootout!

After a little more research it sounds like it would be best to remove it. I am worried that with it in there it might be putting a slight load on the fingers & throw out bearing. I am kind of in favor of a low engauge point vs mid or high.

So it looks like its out with the trany one more time.

That's probably for the best!

Though, I just picked up a RAM adjustable master. It'll be installed next week, so we can raise that point some. I'd be happy with mid or slightly higher, mine is just too darn low right now.

Have fun at the show.
