The Best Clutch for 500bhp under $500???
What would be the best clutch kit out there to handle 500bhp at under $500? I want a streetable clutch but one that is super reliable when I go to the dragstrip and not have to worry about it slipping. So here are 7 different clutches I'm looking at.

I have a ram powergrip I installed in my camaro it is great. It is suppose to be rated to 500hp so you will be borderline on it...you may want to go with the HD version. But I am really happy with my Ram clutch.

A $500 clutch is not a good idea with a 500hp car unless you plan to spend $1200 more in less than 2 years to do it right.

With what I have read and learned etc. I just hear a lot of issues, I don't think any of them under 500 dollars is going to hold up to 500HP 6K dumpd clutches on slicks for a long time.
Reminds of the people in supesion, I want a 2 inch drop and can I use the 200 monroe shocks. You have to pay to play and get the right parts for the right job. I would go with at least a spec 4+ or splurge with a text.
Another option is to get a local place to make you a race disc/clutch. I know many of times they can hold good power if the shop is good.
