Default Got my Formula back after the new ls7 and slave, and drill mod

Ok i just got my car back after a buddy installed the ls7 clutch kit, new slave and drill mod, i have a few questions, Since this is a new clutch i noticed it engages alot earlier when shifting.... the pedal doesnt quite feel firm, its not spongey, i was told this will firm up as the break in period progresses, and lastly i noticed first gear and reverse, and kinda troublesome to get in, have to pump the clutch a few times to get it to go in, is this normal after installing this and will it get better?

They sometimes engage low at first but then get normal after a little bit. Or it may just need more bleeding as well.

Im not sure on the 1st and rev on your but mine has always taken a few secs to get into reverse. 1st gear i have not had a issue with. As far as the clutch engaging off the floor that will adjust itself, it wont move out much but maybe 1-2 inches off the floor. The good thing out these clutches is the ease of the peddle, its just like the stock but with more clamping power in higher rpms
