Want LS7 clutch, what do I need:
Okay, I have a 98 TA and it is time for a new clutch. I want to go with
the LS7 setup. So, what all should I order to do this job right the first time? Part numbers would be a help also. I have been reading about replacing the flywheel. Would the original work fine, or should that be replaced also? Thanks

You need the following at least.
LS7 clutch kit w/LS2 flywheel (LS1 will not work)
new slave
new pilot bearing just incase
Some always suggest a new master too, but I used my stock 99' master & it still works fine. Never had a issue. If you are already having pedal issues I'd suggest you go ahead & replace the master while your in there. If not, your stocker will be fine.
I also re-used my stock flywheel bolts with some red loc-tite & its been together for over a year & several track passes. Including year round daily driving 300+ miles a week. Not a single issue with my hydrolics or this clutch. It even likes my new H/C set-up.

Just got my LS7 installed yesterday and i love it
I've heard some people complain about the weight of the flywheel affecting performance but i can't tell the differance
I never go to the track so i don't no how it affects ET'S.

(fyi car is just bolt on right now with spray, cam in future)
