Default Stock clutch damaged... why?

One morning I starded the car and while driving out of my garage bump!
The car makes a jump and the engine dies: the clutch can't desingage anymore and the pedal feels "weak".

Once I look at the parts I see that the hydraulics are still ok but 2 fingers of the clutch spring are lower than the others.
Nothing is broken, the disk has still enough material and everything else looks fine.

What can cause this damage?

The master is stock - adjustable. Is it possible that the master cylinder is pushing the clutch spring too far away?

This is a stock clutch, new design.

What do you guys think?

Thanks - Stefano

Sounds like a simple case of something breaking, clutches are not bullerproof.

How many miles were on it since the conversion?

22'000 miles. The clutch wasn't new, it came with the conversion kit.
The thickness of the clutch disk was 0.334" when I installed it. I removed it this weekend and it was the same.

The car is supercharged... but I don't race it and I really baby it. The clutch looks now the same as when I installed it: no traces of overheating or wear. Just the fingers look strange.

The pilot bearing looks fine (it was a needle bearing, I replaced it now with a bronze bushing).

The slave looks OK too (hydraulic part). The TO bearing can now be separated from the rest of the plastic part. I don't know if this can explain the clutch damage.

Compared to the new clutch the "fingers" are all a little lower. Two of them even more (see the pic at the beginning of this thread).

Pressure plates are a wear/tear item. They do give out sometimes.
