Default Resurface a Fidanza Steel Flywheel?

I have the Fidanza Billet Steel flywheel, I pulled my clutch assembly today cause it was slipping, and the flywheels has some hot spots on the friction plate, nothing major, Can i have the friction plate turned down like a normal flywheel or do i Have to replace it?

I think that surface is replaceable. I just bought an aluminum fidanza flywheel, it cannot be resurfaced. Rather, you replace that surface as a whole...it bolts in. If you don't get any other answers, give fidanza a call.
