Yea mine does. My car has an A4 to M6 swap. I often wonder if I got the MC rod out of alignment.
But remembering back to the old days I used to take the clutch pedal out of the older 2nd gens and grease the plastic pivot bushings. That would solve the problem. Of course back then there was not as much wiring and stuff in the way, making the job much easier.

Damn thats weird, my car also has an A4 to M6 swap. Could this cause problems if the MC rod was out of alignment?

My clutch pedal will squeak on occasion. It comes and goes. No conversion here though.

I've had it from time to time as well...seems to do it less just after I flush out the fluid, but also seems to be somewhat related to the ambient weather at the time.

Maybe it is the weather, Its just now starting to get a little colder so that could be it.

Its the spring that returns the pedal back to resting position, it needs to be lubricated.

i was just going to suggest that...99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 99999% of the time, if it's squeaky, it needs lube

Mine just started doing that also. Is the spring easy to access?

When my clutch pedal started squeeking I had to replace my master cylinder. Look at your master cylinder under the dash and see if there is fluid leaking out of it. If your master has fluid leaking out of it you will need to replace the master and the squeek will go away.

Mine squeaked quite a bit right before the clutch return spring broke - didn't replace it. I have a fairly new master and it will make a slight squeak, but not bad. My Mazda 3 daily driver also squeaks a little as well, but no problems on either.

I think there is a service bulletin for this exact probem...Its the clutch return spring...Just through some grease on there to shut that thing up...I had one break...Its a PITA to install too...Not to mention the price for the spring

Man speeks the truth about replacing one real PITA.
And the dealer wanted 39.00 for it

That's the answer to ALL problems, not just this one in particular......back to kindergarden for me!

Ya know, I always wondered wtf that was. My girlfriend's old Firehawk did the same damn thing after we had a new clutch installed, only it was ALWAYS! Talk about f*in annoying!
