slave cylinder keeps breaking!!!!!!

Default slave cylinder keeps breaking!!!!!!

i have broken a slave cylinder for the 6th time in 2 or 3 months what can keep causing this problem???? when i jam on it to go 2 a gear that when it breaks and all my fluid leaks out could it be a bad master????i really need some help on this...

Well did this start after you changed something?
Did the problem start after a clutch install?
Would have to say that the problem is either the trans/bell alignment, or the pressure plate's installed height.

do you use a spacer shim behind the slave cyl?

What kind of slave are you buying? GM? What model number? There are a couple of different models.

I have this same problem. Its the 3rd slave cylinder in 2 years ive had to replace.

Just a guess, could an over-travel situation. Try gently pressing the pedal, if it gets hard before it hits the floor, you're over-pressuring the slave. Try pedal stop...

this is an alignment issue. the bell is not centering the trans
