m6 to a4 swap and vice versa
Hey guys, need some help.
I am swapping my 4l60efor another members t56. I read the sticky, but cant get all the info i needed. I need to find out what wiring the guy doing the m6 to a4 swap will need to do. Also if yall could let me know what wiring I need to do. I have a pretty good idea what I need to do. Also what sensors do I need to give him, and what sensors does he need to give me? Please help!!!

sorry I don't know about all the stuff for M6-A4 but all the sensors you will need for the M6 is the clutch safety and the extra cruise shut off for the clutch (also one on the brake). and he should just need the cruise shut off for the brake plus all the stuff connected to the shifter assy.
If you are exchanging engine harnesses and PCM's I believe the only wiring you need to do is is for the trunk release and clutch safety switch, maybe even the reverse lights but not positive? I just used my old harness. He should just have to wire everything to the shifter assy, I know his clutch safety switch wires will run to it, but I don't know where to find the other 4 wires, sorry
