THOSE ARE THE EXACT SYMPTOMS TO THE T.

I HAD BOTH THOSE ISSUES...REALLY DARK FLUID AND MY CLUTCH WOULD GET STUCK TO THE FLOOR UPON HARD ACCELERATION OR WHEN I DID A BURNOUT....JUST YESTERDAY I REPLACED IT AND ...WOW.....BIG DIFFERENCE ..VERY NOTICABLE..FEELS LIKE A NEW CAR AGAIN..CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT SHE RUNS AT THE TRACK

I'm not sure that the baked (black) fluid can be blamed on the master...that usually happens when the hydraulic line gets too close to the exhaust without being protected from the radiant heat. When you replaced the master, you already had new fluid in it, and that may have been what fixed it...then again, it could have been the master. Who knows...the cheaper way to see if you can fix a suspected master would be to completely flush the system and insulate the hydraulic line completely. If that doesn't work, then go after the master cylinder...if that doesn't do it, it is most likely the slave, which unfortunately is the hardest piece of this puzzle to get to.

You, but giving the original poster a plan of attacking the problem starting with the cheapest/easiest and working the way up the chain.

How can you tell if your cylinder is stuck down in the clutch master? It feels like mine is and maybe thats why I'm having such a hard time bleeding it...

I'm having the same problem with my Firehawk. It shifts fine under part throttle or just cruising, but under full throttle the clutch won't come all the way up. Won't even let me shift or anything. I'm not too good with these things, so I don't know what it can be. My Dad thinks it's either the slave cylinder or master cylinder. Anyone have the same experiences?

Mine currently sticks to the floor no matter what I'm doing (even if motor isn't running). I'm just hoping it's not the slave.
