Default ls7 spec3+ tex0z700

keep flipping between which one to buy. 01 ss is a weekend car, 2 or so trips to the drags per year, around 520rwhp/rwtq on aps twin turbo kit. so help me decide!

-ls7 - $399 - will it hold the power
-spec3+ - $765 - supposedly hold 850 tq.
-tex oz700 - $979 - should hold fine, overkill?

if the ls7 will work would be nice to have the extra cash to buy other suspension mods, spec 3+ should work but concerned about the negative reviews i've read. however, the corvette forums often don't have much good to say about the ls7 at higher hp levels either so i would prefer actual experience vs hearsay.

btw - only want to hear about the spec 3+, not the regular 3,4 or 5

Chewy, remember that a stage 3 is not the same as a 3+. The 3+ will be smoother in terms of engagement and stronger as well. I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page. Thanks!

tex is overkill for your power level...but if you want the closest to stock, then it may be its worth the extra $200 to you

Do it once and do it right.

How much power will you be making?

if over 500 RWHP, then the LS7 clutch is out. Just get the Tex and call it a day
