Default Keep Mcleod TD or sell it for somthing else?

some back story. when the clutch was originally installed even with just the 1/4" spacers for the floater there was still way too much clearance for the bottom disc. i think this is because the seller had had all the friction surfaces resurfaced, which i think, is the cause for the clearance problems. i did find some ...washers... that are all uniform in size, thickness, etc. not enough clearance. so now im thinking i can add a sheetmetal shim or 2 or just get rid of the damn thing and put in a single disc ala textralia or the Ram HD i have waiting for my car.

Find something else. I was never a big fan of the mcloed td after I killed several of them with a cam-only car. Then having to deal with people from mcloed is a joke/pita. I run the ram 402/410(or 610 forgot which one) and have been high 9's several times spraying 300 hp for two years now. And it's cheap (around $400 in summit).
