Default Need help identifying a noise in M6

Guys, I just got through the break in period on a stage 3 Spec clutch. I also installed a new slave cylinder and pilot bearing at the same time. It seemed that as soon as I passed the break in, I had a squeaking noise when the clutch pedal is released, sitting still not in gear. Push the clutch pedal in, noise goes away. I can sometimes hear it while moving with the car in gear, but it isn't constant like while sitting still.

It sounds like a slipping belt almost, but obviously coming from the trans. Clutch is holding fine, nothing feels weird.

Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah, I am talking to Spec now about replacing it. I haven't had much time to talk, but they are offering to replace the part. The only issue now is getting it in the car. I don't have the time to do it, and I really don't want to pay for labor to replace a part with 600 miles on it!!

They have been very responsive though, I have no complaints on how they have handled it up to this point.

By the way, until it gets fixed, can someone tell me if it is dangerous driving the car as it is?

Not much unless the bearing comes apart and damages something inside the bellhousing or the bellhousing itself .
