Default Need a new clutch.

Well I've had a specII and it whent out on me really fast so I had a local guy rebuild it for me a while back and now it's out again.

So I'm looking for a new clutch and flywheel.
What do you all think would be a good clutch for my car.

400rwhp/375rwtq Look at my sig for the list of mods I have.

Ram Powergrip HD. My cousin's SS is making the same power as you and he loves his! It's a lot cheaper than the Tex too.

Good luck

I've been running the Centerforce Dual friction but i'm only around 330-340rwhp right now. I'm pretty happy with the Centerforce, but it's only my first non-stock clutch.

LS7 clutch/flywheel package from SDPC - $400 and ur set. Be a good idea to get a new slave too, btw. As long as you're not launching at 4,000+ RPM, it's perfect for your applicaiton. If you are, I'd reccomend the better Tex. clutch. Always go OEM if you can find something that's made for your power and will fit your application. The LS7 Vette puts down 450+ to the wheels so it should handle your power just fine. It works great in my car... drives better than the stock LS1/6 clutch and the Spec 2+ I had in it last by FAR.

I just bought today a tex 0z700 Z grip, decent price and I figured if I blew one spec, ONCE, the 2nd would = the cost, I wanted to do the job once.
