Default Tex Oz surive 6k clutch dumps?

as the title says will it beable to hold up to that abuse?

im making a bit of 400 now, and plan on adding a dry nitrous kit down the road.

either looking at the tex 0z700, or stepping up to the exo-skel or Mcleod twin.

car is daily driven.

Yea CT has it's draw backs but at least the fear of breaking the car when its winter is far from my mind.

But what is nice the lack of Hurricanes, Humidity, and the fear of sinking into the earth

not quite sure since its never seen a dyno (well not since the cam) my guess is right around 430...i trapped 119.77 in the 1/4 (which is pretty fast for a cam only GTO) so i know its at least making that much

My 98 SS is making 555rwhp cam only with a TNT 150 wet shot. It weighs 3700lbs, and the two step is set at 6800RPM. I dump the clutch on slicks OFTEN and my Tex OZ hasn't skipped a beat yet. 1.4 60 foots are common.

Mine didn't. Older style cover, but lower miles as is noticable by the good condition of the disk and friction surfaces. 02'zo6, Nitto dr's, hard hook around 4k then vibration is noticable around 3-4k under load (did I mention that was the cars first track visit on the clutch). Pulled the clutch and found the pressure plate had shifted slightly and egged out the dowel pin holes. All bolts were still tight. I don't think Tex will do anything for me as I purchased the car with the clutch in it (even though it was like new). I'd check with them, but not sure who to contact.

My Textralia OZ700 w/ steel FW has seen somewhere on the order of 250 track passes and 20,000 miles. I'd say 200 of the passes were on 400RWHP car with Nittos leaving around 3000-3500 slipping the clutch. The other 50 were on 12" M&H slicks dropping the hammer from 5000-6000. The clutch is gone at this point, but I'm not disappointed with how it treated me. The car weighs about 3650 with me in it, btw.

After 200 sprayed passes, my 408 and 614rwhp and 685rwtq, and the aussie clutch is still going fine. Now all passes weren't at 6xxhp, but last year 550rwhp and 636rwtq. can't say enough about this clutch, and the customer service is second to none. Not a better clutch out there, imo. Will be going to the dual disc next and my sought 750/800rwhp.

Can't hook at 6k, but it handles 5-5.5 without a hint of a slip. 462rwhp/413tq

I can't hook more than a 4500rpm dump, so I don't know about 6k. If I ever figure out how to get a GTO to hook a 6k dump, I'll try it.
