Default surfaced flywheel??

i have a billet steel flywheel from ram on my car and i just pulled my tranny out to send it off and went ahead and pulled the clutch and flywheel. i saw that the flywheel needed to be surfaced so i had a shop here in town do it for me. he said he had to take .022 thousandths off of it. my question is will i need a shim for the flywheel now or will the master cylinder make up for it, it is stock with the drill mod. thanks

You don't need a shim. The slave makes up for it.
