Default weird problem with my pro 5.0

I don't know if anyone elses pro 5.0 is like this but it sits way to close to the right side. What i mean is like 1st looks like 3rd and 2nd like 4th. I know everything is sitting the right way. I have the lss on it now. Should I get a short stick that angled?

I dunno... but it seems like ever since I put the poly tranny mount in my car, my stock hurst shifter has set way too far to the passenger's side. Do you have a poly tranny mount? Could have something to do with that.

I used the angled stick that came w/ the 5.0. I just cut it down to shorten it up some, there is plenty of thread on there to do so.
The strait sticks dont work IMO one this set up.

I just installed a pro 5.0 in mr car. and by lss I believe you mean Lou's short stick right? If so I just installed both of those on my z28 and love it. you may have the lss backwards?

I have seen plenty of the strait style short sticks. I would get an angled one then, they are avaliable.

the know the lss (lou short stick) is on the right way. here is a picture looking above the shifter. when this pic was taken i had the speed inc angled short stick then i took that out and put the regular lou short stick. I was thinking about buying the angled lou's short stick for the pro 5.0 on afterthoughtsauto.com

Mine sits way over to the right with the straight stick on it, but it doesnt bother me. I just got used to it.

I always thought the shift ***** that were angled towards the driver looked a little weird..

the pro 5.0 stick has an angle cut on the bottom of it that makes it set dead center the prob is you arent using the stick that comes with them. Juat get a stick that is designed to work with the pro 5.0. i have the pro 5.0 and the correct stick but a buddy of mine had the same prob you guys do and he just got a pro 5.0 stick and it corrected it fully

Might also want to check if your console is installed correctly where the two 10mm bolts are at the very front, they have tabs. Make sure both tabs are on the outside.
