Anyone ever heard of using a HD 2500 truck pressure plate on an LS1 clutch???

Default Anyone ever heard of using a HD 2500 truck pressure plate on an LS1 clutch???

My friend was talking about how a couple of years ago he read something alone the line of LS1's using the pressure plate of the HD 2500 trucks and upgrading the clutch disk???? He said it would give you a stock pedal feel.. Anyone know of this?????

It looks like it would work but I don't know why youd want to. Are you talking about for the 8.1 L or the 6.6L Diesel?

not sure why, maybe the pressure place is better than some of the aftermarket once.
