What are the symptoms of running a six speed tranny low on tranny fluid? Will it grind gears, whine, ect?

Whining in all gears, possible grinding while not usually a major symptom since that could be alot of other things.

Most people know since the whine wil start low and then get alot louder. The more you drive it the more damage it is doing since it eats the heat treat off the gears. We see it way to often.

Well my tranny isn't making any whining noises so that's good. I wasn't able to get all 4 qts in it through the fill hole, and after having it rebuilt I didn't want to toast it lol.
