Default Short and Sweet.

I searched and am going to make this quick any easy:

What kind of tape/glue are you supposed to put on short shifter threads to tighten the shift **** so you can align it to wherever you want it without it getting loose? I heard you should wrap the threads with a tape but I forgot.

Well the adhesive substance you apply on the threads is thread locker, more commonly associated with the brand Loctite. The blue Loctite should be good.... when I took off my stock Hurst shift ****, it had some yellow thread locker. Had to put it in a damn vice to get the shift **** off.

I would think the tape is plumber's tape or Teflon tape, not too sure on that one though.

Awesome and just what I needed. Now which do most prefer for just a shift ****? I plan on using the blue locktite for the bolts that secure the short stick to the shifter.
