Default Major vibration thru the shifter @ high speeds

i had a new clutch kit and slave cylinder installed about 2 monthes ago, and ever since then at speeds above about 65 i have a strong vibration thru the shifter and the whole car. on runs up to 100+ the shifter shakes so bad its almost hard to hold on to it.

this vibration happens the most during acceleration above 2500rpms and it doesnt matter if the trans is in gear or neutral, or if the clutch is in or out.

ive rotated the driveshaft, balanced all the tires, and replaced the tanny mount. any other ideas? could this be cause of a crap clutch job?

any input appreciated! thanks

If the vibration follows engine rpm and not vehicle speed, then most likely your clutch assembly is out of balance.

I would have to agree, if it started after the clutch & no other changes that is likely the culprit.

Sounds like they turned the flywheel and didnt have it balanced. Ask me how I know... Faster, easier, cheaper and less headache to just buy a new flywheel. Get it fixed soon cuz that is just hard on the rear main bearing.

I suppose it could be a damaged driveshaft...
