Default New Clutch Problems.....UPDATE

03 Z06

I installed a new exoskel. Torqued everything according to specs. Installed ALL new hydrolics, and a remote bleeder. Also installed a DTE brace at same time.

cliff note version:

INSTALLED:
exo skel
slave
master
remote bleeder
pilot bearing
DTE brace

PROBLEM:

The first thing I forgot to do was bleed the slave...:ack: :toetap: Paniced I called JAson to find out why the car will not go in gear. Asked if I bled the slave...:toetap: :toetap: :toetap: :toetap:

So I bleed the slave, and bleed, and bleed.....did I say bleed ( just checking )

25 fills later I rekon Im good. I have nothing but clean fluid coming out. Start car, SLAM it in gear, same issue.

WTF!!!!

Im lost. I dont know what to do now.

HELP

Exoskell? It won't go into gear or won't disengage? Either way it is definitely the slave... Make sure it's not blown out(if you clutched the care before it was installed for some reason..accident) Another thing.. it can get Hyper extened and not be able to slide on the shaft

wont go into gear unless i turn the car off. wont come out unless i do the same. with the clutch fully depressed the car moves and you can hear the clutch slipping. no clutching of the part as it was new in box. thanks for the response. Im going to try and bleed it a diferent way tonight before pulling it again.

Well I bled 15 refills through the system. No air out.

I found at least one problem. The disk ground against the ARP flywheel bolts. Now I have to either get an entire new clutch or a new disk and then have the clutch balanced. Sorry for the crappy pics but here they are: :toetap: :toetap: :toetap: :toetap: :toetap:

Also, will it make a diference the way i stacked my clutch ( as shown above ) versus the way they are sent ( also above )
