Default clutch slipping?

so i'm heading home from work this morning, and being Easter Sunday (i.e., NO one else on the roads at ALL), i decide to give it a little romp up to 120. i let off at 120 in 4th gear, and let the car just coast back down to 70, then shift up into 5th.

then about 10 - 15 seconds later, my car kinda bucks a bit, like i held in the clutch for about a second then let off of it again, without rev matching to smooth it out....only i didn't....it was in 5th the entire time.

is this indication that my clutch is starting to let go? it didn't seem to slip at all from the 10mph roll i started at, all the way to 120, and didn't seem to slip when coasting back down to 70 from 120, either.

what could cause that? mis-fire, maybe?

stay in 6th gear on the highway and pin it..If the rpms stay normal and dont shoot up, then ur fine.

k, i'll try that on the way home this morning

if that's not the problem, what else could have caused that to happen?

If it where a clutch problem the RPMs would go high due to slippage.
That sounds more like a running issue to me. Your gonna need to investigate that & see what your issue is.
