Mcleod bellhousing any info?
Okay guys I just had the bellhousing installed last week and ran my camaro for the first time. For some reason the damn thing pops out of second and third gear now. Its kinda like something is f*cked up in the tranny. The bellhousing moved the t-56 trans back so much that I had to shorten the driveshaft 1 inch. I've never had any problems out of the trans untill this install. Since everything has changed and moved so much could this be my problem? Anybody else had this problem. What could I do to correct this? Anybody else got this scatter sheild?

I have this shield. It's been in the car for about 3 years now. The only issue I have is that the rear plate on the bell housing is so damn thick that i can barely get a socket on my bleeder. I have never heard of a shaft needing modification from the shield install.

Well it moved my transmission back a 1/8th of a inch with that spacer plate that it comes with. I allready had a shorter driveshaft due to the dana 60. I mean my drive shaft yoke was all the way in the transmission. I was wondering since the tranny was moved back some, if it would mess up the geometry with the slave unit and all? I never had any issues with the tranny shifting untill the install of this bell housing and now it is very hard to speed shift into 2nd and third. The shop said they had to shim it after the install. Could this be where my problem is located? Did any of you guys have to shim the slave unit?
