might go from 4l60e to t5. need help! a friend of mine told me he would sale me a t5 with everything all out of a 3rd gen he says. (clutch kit, flywheel, pedles) and my 4l60e just took ANOTHER **** on me the other day. so what im askin is will the pedles from a 3rd gen with with my 95 TA? and plz dont say just get a t56! i would but i dont wanna spend 2k on just a damn trans and still have to buy everything else! cause im in the middle of building my 80 TA and dont wanna spend much $ on my 95 right now

The T5 is made from dried up butterfly wings. They are super fragile and wouldn't handle the power that you car makes. Just look at the power of the cars they put them in and you we will see what a joke they are. Just find a reputable tranny shop and they can build you a 4L60E that will last. We have some that we have built down here holding 500-600 horsepower for years.
