Hey could any body post pics of how the master cylinder contects with the pedal please thanks

ok thanks yea it does thats where i thought it went does anything hold it there. So whats that spring and hock on top of the pedal then. Im doin a A4 to M6 swap so i didnt have any thing to go by

Number 4 in the pic is the "U Bolt" that holds the master in. Go's thru the MC and the firewall and is held on with 2 13mm nuts. The spring clip, at the top of the pedal, is the same as the one on the brake pedal.

Check InstallUniversity.com, they have a writeup on the master install...

yea i get how to bolt the master clyinder up i mean the rod that connets with the pedal is there anything that holds the rod to the pedal. This isnt good i dont have a spring clip on the brake pedal i havnt taken anything out yet tho just the pedals sittin in the garage for the M6

About 5 pictures down is the clip that holds the end of the MC rod on the pin on the clutch pedal. It's no 1 in the outset of the pic I posted. No 3 is the rod from the master and no 2 is the clutch pedal pin. Hope this helps.

Ok thanks that helped alot but i dont have the master cylinder rod retaining clip where could i get one

master cylinder rod retaining clip part # 3817880,just in case you need it.
