Where does you pedal engage? I have the spec 3+ clutch and I put the shim in and my pedal was too high so I ended up taking it out. If your pedal is already high, the shim will only make the clutch slip more.

Im kinda stumped. The clutch feels good and engages basically at stock depth, but is slipping for some reason. RPM's increase but lacks forward movement. The only thing thats not brand new is the pilot bearing. I havent got on it so..Im still trying to kinda reaserch everyone elses problems before pulling out the tranny.

The slipping is not due to the spacer. The hydraulics purpose in life is to release pressure (disengage the clutch) by forcing the springs of the PP to release. The spacer would only be needed if, when you press the pedal, the clutch doesn't fully release. Sounds like you have a problem with the disk, PP or both.

I don't beleive that you need a shim...as it will not help with slippage. The pedal engages at the normal mid-pedal height correct? When does the slipage occur? How much power are you making? What flywheel is being used? How many miles are on the unit? Let me know and I will be happy to assist you further. Thanks!
