Trans Grease?

Default Trans Grease?

Has anyone used any type of grease on the bearings or forks after a re build during re assembyl? If so what kind?

The best product is Trans Gel. It is actually a thick ATF-based product that disolves into the oil(ATF)when operated- is disappears. It is made just for this purpose. Avoid heavy axle greases as they can have a high wax /parafin content that can damage some blocker (synchro )rings. A light general purpose grease is all that is needed.

I use a light bearing grease and it works fine . I have yet to have a single failure from using it .
