My 3rd gear snycro is bad so the tranny is gonna get dropped and im considering taking it to tick performance for a rebuild, my question is my car is a 00 ws6 it 59, xxx miles on it almost 60 what else should i replace while the trans is out the car, clutch i am changing for sure but what else would be a good base to start with over time I am planning on building the car so i guess since this has happened ill start with the trans and driveline but any suggestions would be helpful thanks!

Besides replacing worn gears or slider assemblies (which you won't know of until you get in there), I'd do:
-carbon syncros
-steel 3/4 fork
-billet 3/4 keys
-1/2 and 3/4 bronze fork pads

That'll give you a tough trans that'll handle 700rwtq all day.

While the transmission is out, it's a good idea to upgrade to the new GM Hydraulics as well as perform the drill mod.

You can see our prices on those parts at our online store: http://www.tick-performance.com/cata...body/driveline

How's the clutch?
