Default Oil on Clutch

I had a problem with the rear crankshaft plug seeping oil, which obviously got on the clutch. Is my friction disk permanently ruined, or will it be fine after I get the oil leak fixed?

Brake cleaner may or may not work depending on what material the disc is made of. I don't remember what material you can't clean w/brake cleaner, but I think it's organic. Hopefully someone will chime in if that's not correct.

What disc is it? If it is organic or kevlar there is nothing you can really do to save it. If it a CSM (carbon-semi-metallic) or a sintered iron disc then brake clean should do the trick. You want to make sure you clean the whole assembly if you try to reuse it as the oil will leave a residue on the plate and flywheel. Let me know if I may be of any further assistance. Thanks!

I really don't remember what it was made out of, I bought it 2 years ago, and didn't install it until last year. It's the Textralia OZ700, I guess what they call the Z grip now. Assuming it's the same, that would be what they call carbon ceramic. I'll have to look and see if I have any old documentation that says for sure. Thanks for the comments!
