Did you have to have anything pressed back on that you removed?

I picked up an 01 T56 needing a rebuild a couple of months ago for a good price. No bellhousing or shifter. I have certainly bookmarked this link. Great writeup.

So how many people on here after reading this have actually tried to tackle this job?

I'm gonna tackle this job in a couple of weeks when I have the money to buy my rebuild kit. Does anyone know where to get a good bearing kit for the t56?

I think this write is absolutely awesome! WAY WAY WAY too ambitious for me, but I am happy to read this and understand the guts of my t-56. At least I have a better knowledge and understanding of what is happening. This little 6spd is a Swiss watch I swear. Thanks for taking the time, terrific write up man.
