why does rpm affect the hydraulics of the clutch Iv been having problems with my clutch shifting at high rpms lately (6800) The clutch works fine if i keep it under 6 grand, but if i rev it to the limiter its a bear to get into the next gear. I just dont understand why if the clutch hydraulics work fine cruising around, why should it be any different at high rpm, i mean all the hydraulics do is either engage or disengage the clutch. Heat i can imagine might affect the hydraulics, but wouldnt most heat come from pushing the pedal in and out alot, not high rpm's of the motor, or is there that much heat transfering from the pressure plate to the slave?? This problem is driving me crazy and i dont have tons of cash to just throw parts at it. can anyone explain this. Iv read a few posts that suggest centrifugal force is affecting the pressure plate at high rpm, and Im leaning more towards this as the problem.
