Default wat clutch w/450rwhp & and sprayin a 150hp shot?

i have 68k miles and about 60 or 70 passes on my car now and the stock clutch is feeling a little weak. pretty good considering i beat the crap out of my car every day after work and on the weekends. anyways, im about to throw a cam in my car along with a bunch of other stuff. still havent decided if im gonna do heads yet. i hope to put out around 420hp with the F14,92/92, pulley, headers and some other bolt-ons. and maybe 440hp if i do heads too. i might do more in the future (probably wont go over 450hp)so i want something that will hold. i will also be spraying a 150hp on top of that. anyways wat im asking is wat clutch should i go with. i have being thinking about a Textralia. but dont know which one. the car is my daily driver. i want a clutch that i can get at least 20k out of hopefully. let me know wat you think. thanks

Tex oz700 Z grip will hold. I have a High RPM issue but I think its depends on the car and machining tolerences. Wil will be shimming my slave next week. BUt as for streetability and holding power, it will last.

They claim the x-grip is a more streetable clutch. Less noise and can be slipped, such as reversing from a parking spot where you do not fully engage the clutch at times. Everyone around here seems to choose the z-grip however. I have been looking around for a clutch myself. I was thinking the x-grip would do me right. I have heard, "x-grip is a girl's clutch, and z-grip is a man's clutch." Seems stupid to me, but the z-grip seems to be the way to go for the strip, and the x-grip for the street/strip set-up. I could be wrong though... That is what I have gotten out of my clutch researching.

I am actually thinking of just going with the LS7 clutch set-up. May not be the best option out there, but aftermarket clutches seem to be a coin toss at times. Hear a lot of positive and negative regarding just about all of them. With the spray, the LS7 may not be the best for you though.

X grip is metallic on one side, organic on the other, Z grip is fully metallic.

Tex won't hold the torque.Start looking at dual disk clutches.
