Default Clutch switch wiring confusion

I have an 2002 ls1 computer and wiring harness. I am doing a swap to a 3rd gen so I am unfamiliar with the wiring. But I have the tech manual and it has made me more confused. I am having trouble wiring the clutch pedal position switch(cpp) and the cruise control release switch(ccr).

To clear things up I am not talking about the clutch start switch. This is the switch with the blue and orange wiring. That is setup fine.

The manual shows pictures of the ls1 v8 setup. It involves a two pin connector going into the cpp switch and a two pin connector going into the ccr switch. Both of these connectors are wired into one harness. The manual shows this on two separate occasions.

However in the wiring diagrams it shows the cpp switch with four pins. I understand that the v6 uses this setup. But this diagram specifically states it is for a v8 ls1.

The picture is what I have right now. I believe the switch on the left is the ccr switch and the other one is the cpp switch. The cpp has four pin outs. But i have those two harnesses. One has four pins and the other two. ???

Did i lose everyone? Can someone help me figure out which is correct? Do i run the switch with four pin outs with all wires or do i disconnect the black/white and gray wires from the harness?

This is something that has confused me too. My car had a two and four pin, but, I thought the body harness might of been from a v6 or something. I took the CC out anyways. I have a pdf manual that shows two two's for a v8 and 1 two and 1 four for a v6.

When I get home I am going to try to look at the parts manual and see which parts the v8 calls for!

Digging this up from the dead but I'm trying to fix the same wiring in my car, 2000 M6 TA. Mine only has the 4 pin switch on the clutch pedal but no wiring to go to it. I do have the pink and brown wires dangling free. I've seen elsewhere that they plug into the two pin switch. Were you able to figure out a fix for this?
