Default Textralia new install possiable trouble

I just instaled a new Textralia z clutch & the new speed bleeder thing. I pumped & bleed the hydralic line & when I put the clutch all the way in I can put it in first no problem.

The main question is as soon as I lift the pedle to release the clutch from the floor the clutch is engaging. Is this the correct feeling or did I do something wrong?

Thanks

I'm not sure about that clutch in particular, but thats what my LS7 clutch did and it slowly came up after breaking in for about 500 miles. It would grab right off the floor like literally 1/2".

My Textralia did the same thing! It's slowly but surely got better, but it was a real bastard when it was cold outside.

It sounds like you need to shim the slave cylinder. If you are that close to the floor the slave is expanding alot to make contect and dis-engagement with the pressure plate. A shim would put the slave closer to the pressure plate, thus reducing the total traveled distance of the slave. That will reduce the amount of peddal to dis-engage and engage your clutch.

This is one possibility. An adjustable master might also fix your issue.

An adjustable master just puts lipstick on the pig. if the slave travels father than intended it will wear alot. I have had a slave fail because of this reason.
On the other hand an adjustable master is great for a properly spaced slave. Being able to adjust the engage/dis-engage point on the peddal does great things for driver comfort.
