Did i get the wrong Mobil 1 ATF ???
'98-'02 T56 are the same. At least the F-BODYS are.

I ran synthetic, syncro, amsoil and just about all kinds of Dexron III Transmission fluid in my _98_ t-56
when I rebuilt it at 100k, the builder I had look at the parts said it looked like I babied the transmission.
Just keep with the maintenance. Even though I had the so called "paper" material blocker rings, my transmission was fine. Now that I've updated, it's still fine. I've actually been running Dexron VI for the past 10k now... so far so good, made around 20 track passes since then and still good, on top of WOT runs every now and then.
