does anyone know if i can get a clutch pressure plate resurfaced and if so, where can i get this done near columbus, ga. it could even be in atlanta, i just need to know if i can get it done and a rough estimate in cost.

Not an option it is a replaced part only. You remove metal from the pressure plate friction surface you reduce it's clamping force & longevity of the clutch.
Get a new one.
