Default Rev match 2nd gear

Well, after tearing down my T56 and replacing broken keys in the 1-2 synchro and replacing bad fork pads, I put it back together. Now the car drives alright and I can get it into second and it stays. Well, until the revs are greater than about 2200 or so, in which case I need to rev match to get it into 2nd without grinding. Clutch is fully disengaging. There was some wear on the sliders and on 2nd gear itself, but is this an issue with them or just simply worn friction cones being it goes in perfectly at low revs and if I rev match?

Certainly someone must know if this could be fixed with simply friction cones and blockers, or only a complete slider would do.

That is a hard call w/out seeing the parts first hand. I would say if your there & in doubt replace it IMO.
