Default Symptoms of a bad master cylinder

Whats up. What are some symptoms of a bad master cylinder? The only problems I have with the pedal are a sqeek when i either press or depress it and maybe a little notchiness shifting. Sometimes it takes more than one attempt to get in reverse. My clutch slips too under low rpms and heavy throttle with a nasty vibration. I replaced the slave 1000 miles ago. Oh and my fluid is full but a liitle dark. Thanks. (I should just buy a new everything, it would make diagnosing my problem a whole lot easier, LOL)

Your clutch won't fully disengage. This wouldn't cause the slipping or vibration--which sound like a worn out clutch.

First thing i would do is flush your hydrolics. If that didn't work i would replace the master. I wouldn't pull the tranny unless i abolutely had to.

He can flush the 'hydrolics' until the cows come home, won't fix this:

My clutch slips too under low rpms and heavy throttle with a nasty vibration.
That's the clutch giving you early notice it's about to take a dump.

Time for a new one, and while you've got the trans down it's a great time to pop in a new slave cylinder and throwout bearing.
