Default Textralia OZ700 X or Z grip

I was looking at the textralia OZ700 clutch but not sure the difference between the X and Z grip. Is there a major difference between them on holding pressure? Any help is appreciated.

The X grip is the more streetable clutch. It has a full faced disk. The Z grip has a puck style disk and handles more power.

I have an x and it is a organic on one side and metal on other. Z is a puck like above said. X is rated at 550 to 600 and z is rated at around 750. My x feels like stock and holds like a ****. I only have a slightly modded 99 with mt streets. Plan on upgrading to a z when I get more power.

So at what point are people going up to the Z-grip? I realize the X-grip is rated at 550-600, but if someone is at 475-500, would you still get the X-grip if it is only rarely taken to the strip?

i'm over 500 hp with the z grip. after i installed it i thought maybe i had done something wrong since it had such a light feel to it. excellent clutch. would never consider the x-grip. can't imagine how it would be more "streetable".

Had problems with my Z-grip. It chattered like a **** since day one. I couldn't stand it. After 732 miles I replaced it with a different brand.

Mine chattered until i beat the **** out of it. I did a couple of 2nd gear burnouts and it was good to go. Did you ever try that? Ive read a lot of z grip people have had to do that aswell!

Ya, I tried that and it just got worse. When I pulled it out, there were heat spots on the flywheel and pressure plate.

I went with a used condition Z grip on my last daily driven TA. 410rwhp or so. It was wonderful.
