Default Short stick owners inside

ok guys if you have a short stick which one did you go with and why?

i have a aftermarket HURST shifter the one with the black stick,
i just put on a ws6 store short stick and i hate it, i like the short throws but the shifter now feels like it is over in the passenger seat. I am thinking of putting it in the vise and bending it over to the drivers side.

is there any shortsticks that dont feel like the shifter is in the passenger seat???

I have a Pro 5.0 and I cut the threads down about half the total threads. It is great and everyone thats driven it has done the same to theres. The reason its so great is because it retains the same position as normal just shorter. I love it its more accurate and a nice clean shift!

You can install the WS6Store short stick on the other side of the shifter. That should center it.

+1 & you can use large nuts as spacers between the stick & the shifter if moving it to the other side is not enough. You'll just need some longer bolts if using the nut spacer idea. I have done this in my Swap car.

I have the Hurst Billet Plus shifter with a Lou's Short Stick designed after the Billet Plus stick. It angles back and towards the driver just like the stick that originally came with the Billet Plus.

If you get a short stick make sure it is the angled one not the strait one.
I just cut my 5.0 down to where I liked it.

I have the WS6store shifter and I love it. I didn't really care for the angles on the stock shifter in the first place. I have really long arms so it always felt too close. The WS6 one feels just right.

I finally got a ws6 store short sifter and put it on my pro 5.0 and I like the shifts but it does feel like its in the passenger seat compared to the stock stick. I have long arms so its not a problem, but I wasnt sure if I installed it right. I actually took it off and installed it again.

But as far as moving it to the other side isnt that going to make it worse? If I understand it correctly (this is how mine is installed) the stick goes to the left of the shifter w/ the side that is more trimmed against the shifter. If I move it to the right side, wont that only make it worse? I think if it was on the right side I think it will probably hit the side of the console right?
