No Reverse

Default No Reverse

Just had trand rebuilt less than 200 miles ago and it made a wierd noise (metalic sounding) going into 5th and now I can put the shifter in reverse but it does nothing. Any suggestions.......................

check the reverse lockout if the eng fuse blows you wont be able to put it into reverse. check that. heres the search query for it as well https://ls1tech.com/forums/search.php?do=process

Does it feel like its going into reverse ? Or is it hitting a wall ?

Its acually going in to the reverse slot but there is nothing there.

Cool

Okay just got trans apart and the rear tailshaft bearing was just completely gone (ate up) what in the world would cause this in only 200 miles
