Default Bolts

I need some bolts..or the thread pattern and lengths and I'll find them..

The 4 Shifter Bolts to the T56
The 8 Bolts that go around the Transmission that bolt it to the Bell Housing

anytime, can u not go to the local dealer & just buy 1 of each, & match them up some where? or maybe go to gmpartsdirect.com, im still just getting all of my stuff together, & working on the engine lil by lil, dunno when ill actually be putting it in! sometime next year probably! best of luck man!

I only use the bolts from GM. They could tell you size at any gm parts place. But I like the correct bolts.

I'm finishing mine up when I get back from Iraq in Febraury. I can't wait to bang some Gears with the 402 and 3.89's in the back..

Update: FCK the Dealership..lol.. they wanted like $82..

I got the thread pattern, went to Lowes, and with the Washers it came out to $12.25

Shifter, 4 Bolts: M8X1.25X20mm
Bell Housing, 8 Bolts: M10X1.5X40mm

8.8 Bolts.. I don't know to be honest with you..

Are they black or silver? Black are hardened, silver are not.

Silver.. same ones that I've been using for my 4L60E and the've been fine..
