Default LS7 clutch installation.

i sifted through the stickies didnt really see what i was looking for so....

ok im about to buy an LS7 clutch kit
and install it (with the help of my mechanic roommate) on my 2001 WS6

clutch,pressure plate,flywheel.

what parts do i need to use for the following (sorry im not a mechanic lol)

Pilot Bearing
Release bearing
Master cylinder
slave cylinder

is it ok to use factory parts for these?
is the best place to look for an LS7 clutch ebay? which sponsors sell them. thanks in advance.

Go with the updated (01 and newer) slave (which you already have, but go with new if you're over 100k), get the regular pilot bearing. Leave the factory master also. Factory parts are just fine.

Get some red and some blue loctite. Red on the flywheel bolts, blue on the PP bolts.

i will probably buy oem pilot bearing from the auto parts store as well as the master cylinder incase i dont need them.

what about the throwout bearing? is it the same for ls7 clutch as my stock LS1/LS6 clutch? i'll need a new one of those too and it doesnt come in the kit

No, the throwout bearing is in the slave cyl. You're good there. Trust me, the less you have to play with the hydraulics, the happier you'll be. Bleeding these systems is no fun at all!
