Pressure Plate Re-Surfaced?
After 2 weeks, I just got my LS7 Clutch/flywheel setup from BYUNSPEED. Everything looks good except the PP. I hope this pictures are good enough...

there are small dents and dings around the entire inside diameter of the pressure plate. how smooth does the pressure plate have to be? do I need to get it resurfaced before installing in the car?
Thanks.

Shipping damage.. While the dents won't have much of an affect, any raised ridges will. I would send it back and have it replaced under warranty while it's new. If that's not possible/practical, I'd have it resurfaced, and ask the shop (they should know) not to go below the new surface, just take out the high spots..
