today i began to hear some whine in my car.but only around 2k in 1st 2nd and maybe some in third (exhaust makes it hard to hear) ..so i just went and had the fluid changed in the rear..still hearing it...could it be the trans? ..its a standard.
and yes i know that 12 bolts and 9" are better..just cant afford one at the moment THANKS FOR ALL HELP

If it just started, check for a tear or hole in the body boot around the shifter. Any hole / tear will let alot of noise in.

just did no tears...also just changed fluid..its barley noticeable you have to really listen for it..its only in 1 2 and 3 its real high pitched and gets louder as rpms climb..what could it be?
