Which clutch?
So... Mods in the sig. Daily Driver in LA traffic. Stock's been good for my current power level. And don't plan on going nuts but 400+ rwhp is possable in near future or sell and get a C6.
Heard great things of ls7 clutch... Drove one and it engaged .5 inches of the floor. didn't like that at all. So if i get an Adj. master and stock 01 newer slave with the ls7 clutch kit from Byun is that going to give me some flexibility in hp and drive ability for LA Traffic.
Gotta make a decision asap can feel vibration in clutch when fully engaged, slow acceleration so not too sure slave is operating properly.
P.S. 95k on what i believe to be stock clutch.
Thanks

I agree, it's going to engage right off the floor at first. After about 100 miles it will stiffen up and be about 2 inches off the ground till it starts to engage. I think it might just be air working itself out the system, not %100 possitive though.
Only negative thing I can say about mine is that there doesn't seem to be that much room between first signs of the clutch engaging and all the way engaged.
With my other two spec clutches I could easily start off with no gas just easing out on the clutch. Like when I'm in stop in go traffic so I don't have to constantly hit the gas. I guess I'm just used to my other clutches I've been using for 6 years.
It might be a good thing..? I'm not sure because I've only put about 400 miles on the LS7. So far I'm not terribly impressed by the "launchability". Seems to me like it doesn't allow me to feather it as much out the whole...Not talking **** by any means though, I would recomend it for the price. Can't go wrong for a dailly driver. Especially if it can really handle 450-500 well.
Just my $.02

Ls7
Any time you can put a stock part in the car, and it will hold the power you are trying to achieve I say do it. The LS7 is great for the market that it is intended for.
