what are they going to do with people who have already had darker on the rears of their car? I mean, under previous law, you could spraypaint your rear window black if you wanted to.

I have 35%/20% sides/rear on mine, so at least maybe they won't look quite so hard anymore.

3x% all the way around looks nice, not sick, but who wants tint tickets. Most I ever had done is 20% all the way around and the cops noticed it.

Well I have my passenger and driver side tinted in my Cobalt and just got a tint ticket from Hometown PD. Did the Gov sign this already?

So, evidently in IL, as long as the governor does not veto it, regardless if he signs it, it will become a law after 60 days. June 26 + 60 days = August 25th should be interesting.

I'm willing to bet Torch'd only drives that car maybe once a month.

You wouldn't get 5 miles before a cop hit you with a ticket for having that kind of tint on a red car like that. It looks very nice though, and I'm sure it keeps the car cooler on those hot days.

I'm still not understanding the law. We only have 3 windows. The front windshield, the driver and passenger windows, and the giant vertical glass football field hatch window.

In plain english what wold be the max tint for each window?
